THE PERSONAL CIVIC INTELLIGENCE LAYER
YOUR CIVIC RULES. YOUR AGENT. YOUR AUTHORITY.
The Civic Agent watches public institutions continuously so you do not have to.
You define the locality, issues, values, trade-offs and authority. The agent finds relevant government activity, assembles the evidence and prepares a response.
It does not change your civic instructions or speak in your name without your approval.
Why it exists
Government has full-time attention. You do not.
A public decision can begin months before the average person hears about it.
It may first appear in an agenda attachment, committee recommendation, regulatory notice, budget line or staff report.
The Civic Agent is designed to close that attention gap.
It watches the public record and brings forward the decisions most likely to matter to the civic profile you control.
Your private Civic Profile
Tell the agent what matters—without telling the world.
Your Civic Profile can include:
- municipality, province or state and country;
- issue interests;
- civic principles;
- policy priorities;
- acceptable trade-offs;
- concerns requiring extra evidence;
- notification thresholds;
- preferred explanation depth;
- agent authority level.
Your profile is not a public political biography.
It is a private set of instructions used to determine relevance.
Authority ladder
The agent gains no authority you did not give it.
1. Observe
Monitor selected institutions and sources without notifying you.
2. Alert
Notify you when a potentially relevant decision appears.
3. Explain
Produce a source-backed brief showing the decision, authority, timing, evidence and uncertainty.
4. Recommend
Identify likely alignment, conflict and trade-offs based on your chosen Civic Profile.
5. Prepare
Draft a non-binding Mirror Response for your review.
6. Authorized Mirror Response
In a future release, record a non-binding response under a narrow, explicit and revocable standing instruction.
Level 6 will not apply to official elections, candidate selection, party support, binding referenda or any act legally requiring personal attendance or direct authorization.
The agent may extend your attention. It does not inherit your sovereignty.
Evidence brief
No unexplained recommendation.
Every issue brief is designed to separate:
Official record
What the public body proposed, discussed or decided.
Source evidence
The documents, notices, minutes, recordings or legislative materials supporting the record.
Agent interpretation
Why the issue may relate to your selected values and priorities.
Uncertainty
What is missing, contested, unclear or based on prediction.
Available responses
Support, support with conditions, oppose, request more information, remain uncertain or abstain.
Personal Civic Report
See your own civic history without turning it into a public dossier.
Your private report can show:
- institutions monitored;
- decisions matched;
- evidence briefs reviewed;
- responses confirmed;
- unresolved issues;
- changes in your own position;
- recurring trade-offs;
- Civic Missions joined;
- Civic Dividends earned;
- permissions currently active.
The report is for you.
It is not automatically shared with research buyers, public bodies or other users.
