Service boundaries
Understand the record. Understand the authority.
CIVIC LEDGER AI LTD is an independent technology company, not a government service. The product pages describe an architecture under development. Current website forms accept registrations and inquiries; they do not activate a Civic Agent or enroll you in research.
Specific missions and future services require their own disclosed terms before participation. This page explains the intended boundaries of the civic architecture.
Civic responses and official processes
Mirror Responses recorded within Civic Ledger are non-binding expressions. They are not official ballots, elections, referenda or government submissions. A separate authorized submission through an official lawful process is governed by the receiving institution's requirements.
Participant authority
Participants control access to their civic profile. An agent may prepare a response for fresh confirmation or execute a narrow standing instruction previously authorized by the participant. Broad preferences alone do not authorize a political position.
Delegated responses must be labelled “Executed under participant standing instruction.” Human confirmation and participant-authorized agent execution must remain distinct in records and research.
Civic Pulse is research
A mission uses specifically authorized data to produce its defined aggregate research product. Sponsor disclosure, eligibility, compensation, retention and publication terms must be available before participation. Compensation cannot depend on viewpoint or official voting behaviour.
An inquiry or registration does not guarantee acceptance, recruitment, research findings or payment.
Observed and experimental records
Observed State describes attributable public institutions and actual public activity. Prototype State is a separate experimental layer with no automatic official legal effect. Parallel Republic simulations do not themselves amend law or replace government.
Only actual adoption through applicable lawful processes can create a new official event in the observed record.
Sources and AI outputs
AI-generated summaries and interpretations may contain errors or omissions. Review the linked official material before relying on an output. Source coverage, uncertainty and correction history should remain visible; a generated explanation is not an official government record.
Permission and withdrawal
An authorization must state its purpose and scope. Ending future permission does not automatically erase information already legitimately processed or completed aggregate outputs. Each mission must explain its retention and withdrawal consequences in advance.
